Testimonials

In finding Becky Fulker of Kubera Book Design, I found a true partner in the creation of my latest book, An Arizona Auto Adventure: Clarence Boynton's 1913 Travelogue. As this was my first adventure in self-publishing, I knew I needed a top-notch book designer. With over 200 images in an approximately 200 page book, it was imperative that the images be in the right place in the text without looking cluttered. Researching the book, finding the photographs, maps and advertisements, writing the book and the captions, were all relatively easy for me, but when it came to designing the book, I anticipated a difficult process in finding a creative and detail-oriented professional who could work with my design. But Rick at Color Factor in Prescott recommended Becky right away, and after reviewing some of her other projects, I hired her and she got to work right away. She was very professional, but pleasant and easy to work with, met deadlines, did exactly what I expected of her and didn't freak out over my incessant changes and details. I knew what I wanted the final product to be, and she delivered. She truly was a partner in the creation of An Arizona Auto Adventure: Clarence Boynton's 1913 Travelogue. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who wants a great book designer, no matter how complicated the project might be.

If you need a book designer, I can't recommend Becky Fulker enough. I've now used Kubera Book Design for two projects. Becky did the interior book design for Standing Stark: The Willingness to Engage. I was so pleased that, when I was ready to publish Portals to the Vision Serpent, I didn't hesitate to contact her again—this time for both the interior and cover design. She's easy to work with, prompt and creative. If you're outside the Prescott area, don't let that stop you. We did most of our collaboration via email and quite successfully.
